Hei MI fans, Wassup everyone? I am back again with another tip. This time is using NFC effectively to transfer media or files via NFC. I found it so much quicker and easier to send my media and files on the fly from my Mi 9 to my Redmi Note 8 Pro. Just to recap, Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with NPX-SN100T chip allowing transaction speed to increase by 30% compared with the previous generation. It is amazing to have NFC equipped devices, as earlier I have been using ShareMe app which I find is less convenient. 
What is NFC? Redmi Note 8 Pro and MI 9 both supports multi-functional NFC, Near Field Communication which is fast, intuitive technology that lets you interact securely with the world around you with a simple touch. NFC wireless proximity technology is amazing whether you want to send photos, videos, files, or make a payment, NFC can make it easy to do so. 
And it operates within a radius of about 4 cm and provides a wireless connection between your device and another. Both devices are able to send and receive information, which is two-way communication. The NFC connection is based on radio frequency via its electromagnetic induction coil, in order to transmit information without relying on Wi-Fi, 3G, LTE or Bluetooth. Using NFC to transfer media Let's begin the task of transferring our data and media from Mi 9 to Redmi Note 8 Pro. 
On your Redmi Note 8 Pro, tap on “Settings" then select "More". 
Enable "NFC", then tap "Android Beam" and enable "Android Beam". 
And for my Mi 9 has been activated earlier. Both sending and receiving devices must have NFC and Android Beam activated. Now, you are ready to Beam away. 
To start beam your pictures or files, for my case a picture that I need to transfer from my Redmi Note 8 Pro to Mi 9. On the Gallery menu on the bottom, click "Share" and choose "Beam" as shown below. 
It will remind you to keep both devices to close proximity to initiate the beam or transfer. 
It will prompt you, “Tap to beam” together with the thumbnail of the sent photo on the display of the receiver's phone to confirm to receive. 
It will then beam in a breeze. You will hear a sound when beaming starts. Once the transfer is successful, you will get notified via confirmation audio and drop down notification, as shown below. 
To check the transferred "Photo" browse to "Beam" folder, as shown below.
