Using Find Device Option from Mi Cloud: You can easily reset your Lockcreen password using Mi Cloud. To do this, you just need to visit i.mi.com and log in with your Mi account details.

2. Resetting through Recovery Mode: Putting the wrong password in your device can result in making it locked for a certain period. Then you will find an option named Forgot password. While clicking on it you will get the process to get rid of Lockscreen password. 
To do this, you need to turn your device into Recovery Mode; after turn off your device long pressing of Volume Up and Power Button simultaneously will boot your device into Recovery Mode. Then you will find the option Wipe Data, selecting it will erase all of your phone's data and thus you can lock out of forgotten password. 
3. Using Password Forgot Option through Google Account: You can reset the Lockscreen Password or Pattern using the Google account. The internet connection is a must reset your password. After you have entered the wrong unlock pattern five times, wait for 30 seconds and click forget password Sign into your Google account (Gmail account) via username and password. Draw a new unlock pattern or type password, then tap Continue. For confirmation again Draw the new unlock pattern or type password and tap Continue. 
4. Using Android Device Manager: To get rid of the forgotten lock screen password using Android Device Manager, your device must be switched-on, connected to the internet and it must have installed Google account. Then you need to visit the Android Device Manager and need to log in using your Google account details. 
After logging in, you will find three options - Play Sound, Lock and Erase. While clicking on the Lock button, you will see the following options: Putting the details can replace your lock screen password. After setting a default password, you can change it later on from Settings of your phone. Using the Erase option can help you to lock out as well but it will clear all the data of your phone. 
5. Using TWRP: If you have installed TWRP on your device, you can reset your lock screen password using TWRP. To do this, you need to Boot your device in TWRP Recovery. Then go to Advanced File Manager data system and delete the following 5 files:
