Today I am going to discuss "Google Play Protect, how it's work to keep safe our Devices from malware's". So, let us start!

☆ Highlights

  • Scan your activity to save your device.

Google play protect is Google's answer against malware's. Play Protect automatically scans your Android device to keep your device, data, and apps safe. It replaces Google's "Verify Apps" feature to become more prominent to the user and provide detailed information about security scans. Play Protect also scans apps not downloaded from the Play Store.

☆ Safe your device from hacking

Google Play Protect is also incorporated in first-party apps like Chrome. This helps raise red flags when you’re visiting sketchy sites to protect you and your data from landing into the wrong. Like the images given below, play protect help all the way to keep safe your device from malware or from hacking.

☆ Find lost devices
In the unfortunate event that you lose your phone, Play Protect also includes the existing Find My Device feature that will help you pinpoint, lock, ring or lock or even wipe your device. Rebranded as part of Google Play Protect are a number of existing Android security features, chiefly Android Device Manager, now called Find My Device. Find My Device offers a fresh user interface for Android Device Manager and adds new features, including the ability to remotely lock a lost device.

☆ How to check your app security status?
You can check the status of Google Play Protect on your device:
  • Open your Android device’s Google Play Store app.
  • Tap Menu = Play Protect.
  • Look for information about the status of your device.

☆ How to enable or disable Google play protect?
Google Play Protect is on by default, but you can turn it off. For security, we recommend that you always keep Google Play Protect on.
  • Open your Android device's Google Play Store app Google Play.
  • Tap Menu Menu and then Play Protect.
  • Turn Scan device for security threats on or off.
