Hello, Mi Fans!
If you are facing 'This WhatsApp version became obsolete' error as shown in the below screenshot, follow these simple steps to resolve the issue:



How to resolve 'This WhatsApp version became obsolete' issue?
  • Open pre-installed Mi Store App named 'Apps' on your phone
  • Search for ‘WhatsApp’ in search bar, located on top
  • Click ‘Update’ button

Your WhatsApp should work normally now.



You can also go to ‘Tools - App Update' in 'Apps' store and press ‘Update all’, which should update all the apps and resolve the issue.


Alternatively, you can back up your chats through WhatsApp settings - chat - chat backup, uninstall the app and then go to www.whatsapp.com/android, download and install the latest package, which should resolve your issue.

Just uninstall and open options. I had backup so I uninstalled and reinstalled WhatsApp. Now it's working fine
