[Discussion] Camera2API?? Why does redmi note 4 doesn't have it enabled.

My redmi note 4's camera is pretty nice. But i am not able to use to to its true potential because xiaomi is holding back on enabling the camera2api in build.prop file
I could do that myself but it requires root and root voids the warranty.
If camera 2 api is enabled, we can use modded google camera to get hdr  features, portrait mode, 4k recording, way better low light photos. Xiaomi doesn't provide such advanced features in its native camera app, and i am not asking it to provide that, but why is adding one extra line of code to build prop file such a bug task for xiaomi, why is it not enabling that.
I want you guys to share this post and vote if you want camera 2 api enabled in upcoming updates.
If someone from MIUI ROM development is reading this, please help us out on this.

Agree with budget thing. but Editing one Line in build.prop is not going to cost OEMs anything. Not a big task for them. But this kind of attitude from OEMs does make bad impression in user's mind. One of MIUI Global Forum told when asked some feature by a user that reach out to Xiaomi and not MIUI. So i have doubts if anybody is going to listen us here or not. Is Xiaomi and MIUI different??

Miui failures downgraded camera hardware of Redmi Note 4. Performance is hampered due to miui.

By the way , You can still use the Google Camera app which is now compatible with this Miui 9.0.7.0 version. And can use auto Lens Blur feature in it fluently

It may damage the device. Camera 2API is not for Snapdragon 600 and 400 series. Google developers working on it. Hopefully they will success.

Since when it will damage the device. It doesn't matter if you have Snapdragon 200, 400, 600 & 800 series. Google released Camera2API starting from Android L to take full advantage of the camera (taking RAW pictures, manual mode etc.) Go and do some research boi.

Rooting & unlocking bootloader does not void warranty for Xiaomi devices

how did you get 9.0.7.0
and which version of goigle camera are you using. coz i can't use the newer ones. though a 2 year old version 2.5.052 is working flawlessly for now. but it doesn't have HDR+ mode and really less improvement over stock camera
