Yes, it's exciting. This MIUI 12.5 Global Beta Stable V12.5.5.0.RKSMIXM for Redmi Note 10 5G has been pushed via OTA.

My device (model M2103K19C) has received the update available. I installed the update, and after the installation was complete, it came to reboot the system, I rebooted, and the reboot hung. Then I removed the SIM card slot and rebooted again, but the reboot still hangs.

To recover from my phone reboot issue, I had to use Fastboot (hold volume + power key) to resume reboot. After restarting the device it was discovered that the update was not installed. It says "Couldn't update MIUI".

I have tried many attempts including "wipe all data" to reinstall the V12.5.5.0.RKSMIXM update without success. It always gets stuck on restart. See Image.

I ran into this update problem.

Hi!
Greetings for the whole team and thank you!
I recieved the OTA but when I update and reboot, it always goes to the recovery.
I tried the Download the latest package option but it still the same and when I reboot it says the update couldn't install please try to download and install again.

I also did a wipe data but still the same.
This is my Redmi Note 10 5g's specs.<br>

I purchased my device in early March 2022. The device that comes with MIUI Global is "12.5.3.0 (RKSMIXM)". After setting up the device, it states "An update is available - Download update". I installed MIUI Global "12.5.4.0.RKSMIXM" and rebooted successfully.

Yesterday, the device showed "An update is available - Download update". Again, I downloaded MIUI & OTA update and installed it. The update is:
miui_CAMELLIANGlobal_V12.5.5.0.RKSMIXM_b5dd99bb03_11.0.zip &
miui-blockota-camellian_global-V12.5.4.0.RKSMIXM-V12.5.5.0.RKSMIXM-93d379d68a-11.0.zip

I chose one of them and installed the above update. After the installation is complete, it's time to reboot the system. I reboot and MIUI resume hangs. MIUI Recovery keeps pointing to restart? Then I rebooted again and still stuck on rebooting.

I can't get my device to restart, I have to "wipe all data" to restart my device back to existing MIUI Global "12.5.4.0.RKSMIXM.

Hope the Redmi Note 10 series sub-forum management team will hear to the users feedback and solve the problem.

So, I'm assuming there's no explanation to this (?)

It seems we were just screwed by an official update, and no one can offer a solution. Or maybe no one but us cares after all.

Anyway, here's a collection of threads covering this same topic. Bear in mind that this issue is happening to devices that had not been manipulated in terms of unlocking bootloader, flashing firmwares, etc.

Well sad to say the update has nothing to do with our device... our device is M2103K19C which is "C" is corresponds to a china variant and our device is Camellia not Camellian, the global device which is M2103K19G "G" corresponds to a global variants seems they dont have any problem updating their device using the Camellian Global Roms.

I tried straight flashing from V12.5.4 to V13.0.2.0.SKSMIXM and it works, all functions seems working perfectly but the volume is at max (I think its in 200%) which is very loud and you can't control it using the volume controls and i think its a major bug to our device M2103K19C.

Tried flashing V13.0.4.0.SKSCNXM (China Rom "Camellia") and this was the best and perfect rom, no bugs for me,100% buttery smooth, but no google services, google play and apps, so still a No for me.

So i tried V12.5.4.0.RKSINXM which is an Indian Global rom, i read some forums that Indian Global rom is compatible to our device (M2103K19C) which is for Camellia device, so for now im using it as my daily driver, Im hoping to get an update for V12.5.5.0.RKSINXM, hopefully to the Indian Rom developers is working for that.
