Hi Mi Fans, Two weeks left before the first round of the ShotByMi Awards 2021 ends. If you haven’t submitted your works yet. Today, I will present to you the basic principles of night photography. The first piece of advice, especially for beginners is to avoid the street lights. If you take pictures close to a street lamp, you might get unwanted reflections, flares, or spots. Instead, you might want to use the auto settings (Night Mode, in this case) in the MIUI native camera app. Advanced users can try using the PRO mode. The best setting for night smartphone photography is using a long exposure (shutter speed 20-30 seconds). Using a tripod, or hold the phone steady while taking a picture to avoid blurriness. If the exposure is inappropriate, you can correct it with the MIUI native tools or third-party apps.
