Dear Redmi Note 9S users, The new MIUI 12 v12.0.1.7.RJWMIXM based on Android 11 for Redmi Note 9S was released yesterday. Note that this update is an internal build and is released for internal testers ONLY! This was rolled out to few random users to verify/check the earpiece audio issues in this device. There was a confusion that only some Mi Pilots received this and not others. The selected Mi Pilots will get a new update after testing this build, so kindly stay tuned. The ROM file was leaked in some websites and Telegram channels, and flashing this ROM is NOT recommended. This build is prone to bugs and is not intended for normal users. You'll get an error message if you try to flash this file, and that is normal. Once the testing is done, Mi Pilots will get thier hands on the new Android 11 build, which they will get as an OTA. For those Mi Pilots who already received this and updated, you may stay on this until the next Mi Pilot build comes out. If there are bugs, it is recommended to downgrade to the previous build and wait for the next release. The previous thread on this topic is now deleted and I'll update when a new build is pushed to Mi Pilots. Apologies for the confusion and inconveniences caused.
