The phone already "supports" it just fine as shown here, although this method stopped working after update to Android 11, it's just not whitelisted in Google's AR services as a compatible device.

Please do something to make this phone have official support for it, there's no reason to lock it out when the hardware is more than capable of it. Even the Poco F1 has Depth API.

I just noticed it got enabled on my phone yesterday, it's not on google's big "supported devices" list but it seems to work now and you can find all the apps that require it in the store like normal.
Sadly it only uses the main RGB camera without the help of the ToF sensor, but eh, maybe someday
