[Other] Mi Box 3 MDZ-16-AB issue with freezing

Hi,

After the latest update video is freezing in all application which playback video. I should reboot Mi Box every day. The problem is general. On the 4pdaforum, I saw that many users have such an issue. For now, only one solution to resolve the issue is to downgrade the firmware to the Android 8 version because in the first update with the Android 9 version there is another issue with HDMI CEC functionality that TV is not turned on from Mi Box remote control.



Please do something with quality and test the new firmware version more deeply because in each update there are issues and this issues are critical because the main functionality is not working.


I'm using Mi Box 3 MDZ-16-AB.

I have problems after the latest Update in January (677MB). The streaming doesnt work properly, sp i have to restart the box every day. The problems are with Netflix, YouTube and all other video related apps. The App start normaly but the Video doesn't start or only shows the first picture and stops (buffering problem?)

You are right this issue appeared after this update.

Same issue for me!

It's very annoying because after the previous update I wasn't able to turn on the device with the remote controller, because the box lost the connection with the controller every time when I turned off the box.

We had to wait for the next update for months and now it's much worse now!

Hope they publish a fix for this issue soon...

Hello there mine has problems too.. Sometimes restarts randomly and sometimes there is no sound.. So i restart it again.. This update sucks

I have the same problem.  After leaving the mibox3 in sleep mode for certain hours, no audio is heard and videos do not play.

Hope xiaomi will send a new update to the Mibox3.  In order for the audio to be heard and the video to be reproduced, I must restart every morning that I want to use my mibox3

I have the same issue. Many people are impacted by a minor update that was supposed to add a remote. Now all Mi Boxes are bricks.
Not good for the xiaomi brand...
