this is really useless.. wasted my Data for downloading such a huge file.. and it did not WORK at all.. stop giving false hope.. lets just face it. Redmi Note 8 is Neglected and taken-for-granted

Some already updated their unit from V11.0.11.0 to V12.0.2.0 with no issue, and post was updated after receiving confirmation that they manage to update their unit. A V11.0.12.0 was released earlier for V11.0.11.0 via OTA for users to update. Either wait for an OTA update prompt for V11.0.12.0. No False hope was given, some did manage to update, unfortunately you did not...

Who knows.. those are working from Mi just to give false hopes.. the post you said it will work but it didnt.. this is a total.waste of time, effort and MOST OF ALL DATA.

and worse you gave out links for beta testers and worse beta testing program doesnt exist anymore. thats a false hope and false information. this is really frustrating.

You will get the MIUI 12 update, not sure of the slow wifi and bad UI.

i only experience this slow speed using the phone though.. but other phones does have pretty fast connection to my wifi..

the manual update used to work before, unfortunately xiaomi had already stop this,  the only way to update is to unlock bootloader and install a rom or version  that have already received miui 12 updates (ex. china and eu rom)
