A major leap forward from Xiaomi’s 30W Wireless Charging Technology introduced last year, the new iteration of the cutting edge technology is an order of magnitude ahead of similar solutions offered by other smartphone brands. 
80W Mi Wireless Charging Technology is capable of filling a 4,000 mAh battery to 10% in 1 minute, 50% in 8 minutes and 100% in just 19 minutes. For comparison, 30W Mi Wireless Charging Technology from 2019 was capable of charging a similar battery to 50% in about 25 minutes, and 100% in 69 minutes1. Global technology leader Xiaomi today announced the opening of its official Mi Store in Murmansk, a city located within the Arctic Circle, making it the company’s northernmost point of sale in the world. Yu Man, Head of Russia and CIS, Xiaomi, said: “We are so excited and thankful to our partner for an amazing opportunity to make this dramatic northbound move. Xiaomi’s chain of offline stores in Russia now covers 10 timezones, and my heart fills with happiness when I see more and more Mi Fans and consumers get closer to innovations we provide.” 
The store, located in Murmansk Mall, has become one of the most loved shopping venues among local residents. Canalys:- Indian Smartphone Shipments Reach Record High In Q3 2020, Xiaomi In The Top Position Indian smartphone shipments dropped by almost 50% in Q2 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This made for historic lows in the market, but it looks like Q3 2020 has given us a record high. 
Tracking firm Canalys reported that smartphone shipments in India reached 50 million units in Q3 2020. This is an all-time record according to the firm, growing 8% year-on-year.
