I am incredibly humbled by your participation in this discussion guys! Thanks for showing up in force and man I can't believe the astounding support for MIUI to create a truly separate OS. I personally vote this. You guys might have seen my other topic that's up right now asking whether you'd be happier with MIUI on Harmony OS vs Android. Well for me personally I'd prefer MIUI by itself a stand alone OS in its own right. I'm sure given Xiaomi's history a truly distinguished smartphone OS would put it ahead of all the competition more so than it already is.

First Xiaomi should give jobs and hire lots of developers to update and optimise every device they release / had release in the last 1 year+. After that they should stop releasing phones every week. Then start programming their own OS based in Linux of course. After that, they should Release the First Phone with the new OS with just 3 models low budget / mid budget / high budget. And keep it that way, just 3 phone models. So they can be updated and optimise fast and often. Companies don't understand people nowadays consume software they want new features in updates new things to play around with the OS. Every phone lithium battery will die eventually they just endure 1 or 2 years depending on use and only then people change phones. So new tier models can be released in periods of 1 year.
