[Other] Can't turn off DARK mode MIUI12.

MIUI 12. Mi 9.
I can't turn off DARK mode at all. The only time the light mode is back is when i plug the phone and when the battery is over 75%.
After 75% its back to DARK mode and switching light/dark doesn't do anything, remains in Dark.
This seems to be a bug in the system. Some forced mode to save battery. Even though Battery Saver is off.
Already submitted this via feedback on the phone...

I tried few things after searching:
Like running Security app and fixing errors.
There are some people suggesting running lines of code to force it, but i dont know how to do it. Is it via Android studio?

Thank you for suggestion. I'm trying to avoid having to do that since it would require lots of backing up, etc.
Maybe someone else has another solution.

If not, eventually i'll have to do this reset to try.

I guess you have tried to toggle the dark mode right.

Of course. and it works fine when plugged in. The toggle works switching the modes. Just as it works when i have battery over 75%.
somehow below 75% unplugged - its stuck in Dark mode. and switching on/off doesnt do anything. I can use the toggle, its not like its greyed out. but it remains in Dark mode always.

Did you try to toggle battery saver or something, otherwise just factory reset.

I have the exact same problem with my Mi 10t it switches between the light and dark mode normally when charging, but as soon as i unplug it, it goes dark mode-_-
I would say it happened to me like 2 weeks ago

I think I find solution. It's happen because MIUI have 2 settings app with 2 different power saver. My method to access another settings is

1. Download Shortcut Maker By Rushikesh Kamewar: url=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rk.android.app.shortcutmaker&hl=en&gl=USGoogle Play/url

2. Open the app. Go to Activities. Search for saver.

3. Select Battery Saver under the Settings. and choose quoteTry this Shortcut/quote

4. If you see Turn off when Charged in enable position, turn that thing off. Thats the source of the problem.

Battery saver shortcut

Clicked on "Try now"

battery saver was on - Disabled and all is fine now
