[Discussion] Widevine CDM Security Level is L3 in Redmi Note 9s

I've upgraded my Redmi Note 9s to version 11.0.11.0 but still the widevine CDM Security Level is L3 and not upgraded to L1. Due to this reason, I'm unable to watch Netflix videos in HD mode.
Please help me to fix this issue. I'm annoyed as I watch netflix mostly on my smartphone.

try reinstalling the netflix app. i havent got the update yet, so can't tell. but for some people it has been fixed. if uninstalling installing doesn’t work then make a bug reoort. although i clearly doubt they see those reports 😁

I submitted the feedback report 4 to 5 months ago but no one has replied yet. Uninstalling and reinstalling will not fix it as it is not a Netflix app issue.

What's exactly your model number? verify if it's not the china version with a global flashed ROM. A friend of mine had the same problem due to his phone being a Chinese model with global ROM.. if so, you will never get L1 and you have to ask for a replacement.. is your device bootloader locked?

Open Developer options, you will see Unlock status option. Or with the simple way, restart your phone, you will see lock icon in your black screen.
