[Discussion] Battery drain on a brand new phone

Hi, guys! I am the owner of a Poco F2 Pro, bought just a month and 2 days ago. But as soon as i got the phone, I noticed huge battery drain. For example, i charged my phone today untill 70%, and then used it for a few minutes. In 5 hours, with 20 minutes of usage, it dropped do 63%. And this one of those good days. Just listening to YouTube Music with the screen of, drains my phone 1%/5 minutes, in the best case scenario. I go for 15 at the store, 40% at home, 36 when I returned back home. First, I thought to return it, since it was brand new. But I decided to wait for new updates, that woul fix the battery drain. I got a few, none of them fixed the issue. In stand-by, I lose about 1.2%/h with AOD on, in a good day. In a bad one, 1.4 - 1.5%/h. Also, the phone stays awake a lot of the time, which concerns me a bit. Since i started writing this, in stand-by (about 10 minutes) the phone went from 63% to 62%.
Those are my last 2 hours:

hey, I just got my phone last Wednesday, and I'm also experiencing the same issue. the battery drains very quickly above 50% and below 50% it's a bit slower. even my 1 year old mi 9t lasts longer than my brand new poco f2.

I have the same experience for the 1st week of use, but now its better. I'm a previous mi max user and battery usage is now the same or better for me. Check which app is affecting the battery usage, usually facebook uses alot of battery due to frequent checking of updates.

I noticed that the firmware might still not be optimised for this phone. Im a Mi Max3 user before this and I just noticed that the Max3 is more resilient with the battery drain. Current SoT is about 5 hrs with 20% battery. Just have 3 or 4 battery cycles for now. It should get better once the battery has been cycled for about 50 to 100 times.

Yea, battery drain on new battery is a bit quick. Let it cycle for about 50 times to get full potential.

I charged it today to 77%, and it is draining to 71 in 2h with 15m SOT. Is this OK?! I don't think so.

My Poco F1 had excelent battery life day 1, no need to way 50 cycles.

That's not normal. lol, can't say much as I do some tweaks with my phone that is proven over time that saves battery a lot more.
