[Tug of Tech vol.1] Quick Animations vs Fluid Animations- Let's debate

Greetings MIUIers & Mi fans,

Welcome to the brand new ‘Tug of Tech’ debate series. In this series we will debate on topics related to smartphone, Android, MIUI &other xiaomi eco system products. This is a open debate for anyone to participate & share views. However it is a general principle in Mi Global community to maintain respect for each other opinion & not hurt others. Not to mention, do not start a war or drop air bombs. Let’s get started.

So, today I Introduce a new debate topic for this week - Quick animations vs Fluid animations.

As we all know, Animations & transitions are the best part of mobile OS, be it Android or IOS. Talking specifically about MIUI, the  animations & transitions has changed ever since MIUI 4 to what we see today in MIUI 12. In MIUI 12, Developers have input a lot of resources to give adifferent level of Android experience that other roms cannot. It is undeniable that MIUI 12 has beautiful animations ever in MIUI history. However, this gives rise to a question. Should the animations be quick so that the purpose is immediately satisfied or it should be smooth & fluid to give rich experience?

This thread will be open for debate until _______. We will select two debate masters of the week (One for each side) who places valid argument & not compromising the rules of Mi global community
