It can be used for about 5 hours on a single charge. The charging case can extend its usage time up to 20 hours.
I like how it fits my ears although a few feedbacks on its thick design. The length of the earphones from top to bottom is 4.3 cm and the diameter is 1cm. For me I don’t mind the design at all.

Light indicators are on each earphone as well as the charging case. This will light up only when it is charging, pairing or when you just open the case.
This headset has two built-in microphones and uses beamforming technology to eliminate background noise during a call. Bluetooth 5.0 is used for the connection to your phone, the signal is transmitted simultaneously to each bud (which offers a more stable connection). You can connect once device at a time.

In terms of acoustics, the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic has a built-in 14.2mm large-size moving coil which supports AAC codec by default it is set to SBC Codec. It has an impressive sound quality on a budget device.

This is a very cool feature for a Bluetooth earphone this affordable. A window pops up when the case is opened, and the smart connection becomes visible.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic feature the MIUI Global user interface. When the charging case is opened, an interface for earphone connection pops up. After connecting, the earphones can be conveniently operated from your phone and you can view the battery levels of each earphones and the charging case. Pairing will only take less than 5 secs.
The following global version models will support this pop-up window for quick pairing after new versions of MIUI Global are updated successively:

Easy to operate with touch controls, double tap on the right earphone will pause or play a music, answer or end a call. Double tapping the left earphone will activate google assistant on your phone which is very convenient.
It also has wear detection, meaning it has sensors that will automatically pause your music when you take them off and then resume it once you put them back in your ear. This is one of my favorite feature.

Charging is also convenient, although it does not have a wireless charging like the other pricier models. It uses a type-C cable which most phones are using now. Charging time will take 1.5 hours.
