![]() Hello Mi Lovers, Assalamu AlaikumGreetings from Mi Community Bangladesh Tech Team. Google is known to keep making some changes to the Play Store. Google is currently testing an expansion of its existing Play Store filters to help find better-rated apps. The change brings a handful of new filtering options that will appear when searching, including a pair of star rating limits and an Editors' Choice-only flag that can help separate the app wheat from the chaff. As of now, when one searches for an app on the Play Store, Google displays some generic suggestions on top for filtering the results based on the search term. For example, searching for Xiaomi will show suggestions like launcher, keyboard, gallery, and more. This will change once filter support is rolled out. Then, when one searches for an app, Google Play is now getting a more generic filter set where results can be refined by rating (either 4.0+ or 4.5+), the Editor’s Choice badge from Google and New. In total, there are four filters that users can apply. One can also use multiple filters at the same time to further refine the results. ![]() The feature is being rolled out by Google via a server-side update so it might not show up immediately on your Android smartphone.
