Please note disabling key update could possibly cause security issues on your network

Can you explain better this strategy, please? How I can do it?Thanks.

You should check if your router/access point allows to disable Group Key Update, under wireless setttings page.

For you reference in TPLink Archer D5 you can find this setting in Wireless - Wireless Security - Group Key Update Period.

In Mikrotik it is Wireless (or CAPsMAN if enabled) - Security profile - Group Key Update, but can't be disabled.

Have just purchased a Redmi Note 9 Pro and have this problem too. Can confirm it is a problem with the Xiaomi software and the way it handles group key updates. Not a chance I'm compromising security and disabling updates so either Xiaomi get a fix out for this as a matter of urgency (and I mean within 2-3 weeks) or this phone goes back to Amazon for a refund since it is not fit for purpose.

Very disappointed this has slipped through their quality control. It's a critical flaw that should have been caught before release. Don't have a great first impression of Xiaomi.

I sent a mail yesterday 17th to the italian customer service. I hope it will be fixed very soon.

Honestly I'm not impressed by the software: other than this serious issue, I have also some issues with notifications from gmail (delayed or received only when I unlock screen and I already tried battery optimization and other known workarounds) and this morning I missed also my alarm clock as it never triggered...
