Same here v11.0.7 and the wifi have problem.When you leave the phone for couple of hours after that even if the wifi connects to router no internet...

is it software bug???

I have a Redmi Note 9 Pro Global Wirth the same issue. MIUI 11.01 installed and I do not find any Updates. Does anybody know wegen thus will be fixed? I think about returning my Phone.

My Redmi Note 9 Pro Global is having the same isssue with MIUI 11.01 installed. This phone is nearly the same phone then Redmi Note 9S, so i hope it will get fixed soon.

Same problems here for the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro just released in Italy (firmware version 11.0.3).
Many posts are dated on April, so it's incredible that in June there are still these problems.
The phone is completely unusable without notifications.
I will return this phone.

Xiaomi is starting to really gain traction in the US.  I'm fact, my employees and I have decided to go with Xiaomi Redmi 9 Pro Global for employees to use for cellphones. But we all have the same wifi issue! We are eagerly anticipating a fix from Xiaomi. The outcome of Xiaomi's reputation with my employees is determined on Xiaomi's response to this situation. I hope to see a fix soon.

Hello, I have a redmi note 9 pro and from my analysis it seems that this issue is related to the Group Key Update Period, which is set on the access point (and likely not handled correctly by the phone): on my mikrotik ac² this time can be set in a range from 30s to 1h and I saw several log messages: "disconnected, group key timeout". If I change this interval and reconnect to wifi, I can get that log message exactly after that interval.
I'm going to test now another AP, TPLink Archer D5, which has default Group Key Update Period setted to 0, that means no update.
I expect that my phone will remain connected to the AP and with connectivity. I'll let you know in the next 8/12h if it is as expected.

Please note disabling key update could possibly cause security issues on your network.
