Now-a-days we are not used to carry pendrives or CDs for important documents, but instead we use cloud storage. Some of those who still use pendrive have look on cloud storage option providers.
What is Cloud Storage?
Cloud storage is a cloud computing model in which data is stored on remote servers accessed from the Internet, or "cloud." It is maintained, operated and managed by a cloud storage service provider on a storage servers that are built on virtualization techniques.
Cloud storage allow us to store, share important documents, files on cloud so we can access them remotely.
Today we are talking about Google Drive and Mi Cloud.
Google Drive :
Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service provided by Google. Google Drive allows users to store files in the cloud, synchronize files across devices, and share files. Normally we can access google drive by their website, with this Google provide app for Windows, MacOs as well as IOS and Android devices.
With storage space Google Drive also provides creating and editing documents, spreadsheets, presentations as well as forms which can be share via link.
Also it permits collaborative editing of documents, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings, forms, and more.
In terms of Android, Google drive allow to backup photos from your device.
Initially Google Drive gives 15GB free space to users and allow upgradation (upto 30TB) with annual or monthly subscription.
Mi Cloud :
MiCloud is a cloud storage and cloud computing service created by Xiaomi. The service allows users to store data such as contacts, messages, photos and notes on remote computer servers for download to multiple devices running MIUI.
The service also includes a feature that allows users to track the location of their MIUI device as well as alarm, lock or reset it.
Key feature of Mi Cloud is to sync Contacts, messages, notes with multiple devices which logged in under same Mi Account. All important contacts, messages, notes are secure in Mi Cloud.
Mi Cloud also provide MI Cloud desktop app with this, MIUI users can easily manage and organize their photo library. Users can upload and download images from their Mi Cloud to their laptops or PCs.
We just need to configure Mi Cloud on our MIUI based device and all care automatically taken by Mi Cloud app.
Initially Mi Cloud gives 5GB free space to users and allow upgradation (upto 5+1024GB) with annual or monthly subscription.
