The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi patents a new horizontal smartphone design with China National Intellectual Property Administration. The patents were published on February 07, 2020.  From the sketches published by CNIPA, we can see that this phone uses a sliding mechanism. Diagram reveals that the phone will sport more than one front camera.
