Hope this month is going good. Today i have compared Qualcomm's 700 series chipset which is Snapdragon 765G-5G Vs Snapdragon 730G. So lets check out in what does it bring to table.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G features Kryo 475 octa-core-1x Prime @ 2.3GHz (Cortex-A76), 1x Performance @ 2.2GHz (Cortex-A76), 6x Efficiency @ 1.8GHz (Cortex-A55). And its comes with Qualcomm® Adreno™ 620 GPU, according to qualcomm 620 GPU brings this platform a 20% boost performance compared to the previous generation. API Support- OpenCL™ 2.0 FP, OpenGL® ES 3.2, Vulkan® 1.1, DX12. Best part of this chipset is that its GPU Drivers can be enhanced via software update which is same as Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset Snapdragon 865-5G.

Snapdragon 730G Antutu Score
In terms of connectivity Snapdragon 765G features X52 Modem-RF System which is 5G modem with 5G peak download speed upto 3.7 Gbps and 5G peak upload speed upto 1.6 Gbps. It also supports wifi 6, Wi-Fi Standards: 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6-ready), 802.11ac Wave 2, 802.11a/b/g, 802.11n. Wi-Fi Spectral Bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz. It supports latest Bluetooth 5.0.
Whereas Snapdragon 730G supports Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X15 LTE modem with Downlink LTE Category: LTE Category 15(max speed upto 800Mbps, LTE Peak Upload Speed Upto- 150Mbps, Wi-Fi Standards: 802.11ax-ready, 802.11ac Wave 2, 802.11a/b/g, 802.11n. Wi-Fi Spectral Bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G features Spectra™ 355 image signal processor, it can handle a single camera sensor upto 192MP, Dual Camera upto 22MP with Zero shutter lag and hybrid autofocus and front camera upto 36MP. Taking about Video recording, can records upto 4K Ultra HD Video @30FPS, slow-motion recording upto 720p @480FPS. Video Capture Formats: HDR10, HDR10+, HEVC, HLG. With Codec support: H.265 (HEVC), H.264 (AVC), VP8, VP9.
Snapdragon 730G supports Qualcomm Spectra™ 350 image signal processor Dual image signal processor. Can handle a single camera upto 48MP and dual camera upto 22MP. It can record 4K Ultra HD@ 30 fps,Slow Motion Video Capture: 720p @ 240 FPS, 720p @ 960 FPS with frame rate conversion, 1080p @ 120 FPS. And it also supports Accelerated Electronic Image Stabilization. Video Capture Formats: HEVC, Codec Support: H.265 (HEVC), H.264 (AVC), VP8, VP9.
Talking about manufacturing process Snapdragon 765G is fabricated on 7nm whereas Snapdragon 730G is fabricated on 8nm. However both the chipsets support Qualcomm's latest charging technology Quick charge 4+. According to Qualcomm to Quick charge 4+ is 30% more efficient, 15% faster and upto 3% cooler as compared to predessor charging technology.
So Qualcomm's Latest 700 chipset which is 765G-5G come with lots of upgrade over snapdragon 730G. As 765G comes with Kyro 475 cores and Adreno 620 GPU according to Qualcomm Adreno 620 GPU gives 20% better performance over its predecessor which is Adreno 618. Moreover Adreno 620 GPU can be enhanced via software update which is same as Snapdragon 865-5G. Comes with X52 5G Modem, better Display support and its fabricated on 7nm means better battery efficient than Snapdragon 730G. So Whats Your Opinion About this chipset? Do let me know in the comment.
