Hi Can I flash Indian Rom on my Global device to get MIUI Message and Contact/Dialer.
My device is bootloader locked.

Yes, you can flash India ROM on your device
Read "Edit 1" part of the first post for the procedure to flash India ROM.

Since you have global device, You can re-lock bootloader by selecting "Clean All and Lock" before flashing India ROM. Your warranty will remain intact.

My device is still under warranty period. Doing the bootloader unlocking is my device warranty will be effected.

Hello good day. I need help here seriously.
My Note 8 Pro is China ROM and I want to flash to global version.
What are my chances. I was told I will not be able to locked it again, will not use fingerprint again and any bank apps.
Please can I have a detailed answer towards this queries and a proper guidance. thanks 😘

Hello good day. I need help here seriously.
My Note 8 Pro is China ROM and I want to flash to global version.
What are my chances. I was told I will not be able to locked it again, will not use fingerprint again and any bank apps.

1. You CANNOT lock bootloader if you flash Global ROM. Locking will BRICK your device.
2. IF you root the phone, then you CANNOT use financial apps. If you want to use financial apps, do NOT root the device.
3. You can use fingerprint normally in Global Rom.
Keep your ROM Un-Rootet & Always use apps from Google's Play Store. You will be safe.

Other than Mi Stock apps for Messaging, Contacts and dialer, there is no other difference between Global ROM and Indonesia ROM for Note 8
