Hello guys!

My flashlight is not working at all from one moment to another. I can't use it in any app at all.
What can I do to reenable it? I already tried to reboot it several times and redownload the update. (MIUI 10.3.8.0 Stable)

Go to Settings » About phone » Tap on Kernel version 4 times to enter CIT mode. Click on Notification light (LED) and run the test for flash. See if it's working. If it works, then MAKE A BACKUP of your data and do a factory reset. If it doesn't work, then it would be a hardware issue and you need to go to a service center for a replacement of the LED module.

Cheers! :-)

Thanks for your reply! It sadly didn't work so that would be a hardver problem :/

Unfortunately yes. Kindly get it checked at your nearest service center.

Hi, sorry to hijack or necro a dead thread.

I have a similar issue but the difference is that the CIT test worked for me. What's my next step? I'm on MIUI global 11.0.5 Global Stable

Hi there! Since CIT test works, it shouldn't be a hardware issue. As suggested in comment #1, make a backup and perform a factory reset.
Cheers! :-)

I already did and the flashlight is still greyed out and flash icon cannot be seen in camera mode.

Any other solutions?

That's strange. Download the latest full ROM and flash it through the updater. If your ROM is missing something, then this should fix it. If nothing works, then your final resort should be visiting a service center.
Cheers! :-)

Yup, just updated it again using the updater. Didn't work. :(

Will visit a service center soon
