Xiaomi announced the release of the MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM on October 16 in India. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is all set to launch on the same day, and the company could bring the phone with MIUI 11 out-of-the-box, unlike its China variant that came with MIUI 10. The launch timeline for MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM should also be revealed by Xiaomi along with its features and list of qualifying phones for India. In China, the first MIUI 11 China Stable ROM updates have started to be provided by Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi K20. To note, last month the MIUI 11 edition of China was officially announced.
Last month, MIUI 11 was released in China, features such as adaptive font scaling, customizable lock screen, a new alert feature, and dynamic sound effects. This brings new features such as Mi Work and Mi Go, allowing users to activate an emergency mode five times in a row by pressing the power button.
Among the early handsets receiving MIUI 11 in China are the Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 7. On the MIUI forums, there is an ongoing thread in which users share screenshots receiving the MIUI 11 running on their devices.
