How To Flash Xiaomi Device without unlocking bootloader And without USB debugging! - Mi Max 3 - Mi Community

Hello Dear MIUI Fan's!

Today I'll show you how you can restore your bricked device. If you can boot into stock recovery, but disabled USB Debugging. YOU CAN FLASH ONLY SAME ROM WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR DEVICE! YOU CAN'T MOVE FROM GLOBAL ROM TO RUSSIA OR EUROPE. ALSO CAN'T DOWNGRADE TO LOWER VERSION!!

You need:

Original usb cable;

ADB Driver

miui-ADB-Driver-Installer-v1.4.3.zip (8.89 MB, Downloads: 278) ;

Utility XiaomiADB

XiaomiADB.zip (1.11 MB, Downloads: 305) .

1. Unzip ADB Driver and RUN exe file. Enter letter -Y- and confirm installation.

2. Unzip XiaomiADB and put ZIP ROM file to the folder.

Connect your device to PC with MI ASSISTANT MODE!

Power OFF, Hold power and Volume UP button, when MI logo appear LET GO POWER button and HOLD only volume UP button. Choose Connect with MIAssistant. And connect to PC.

For Start flashing just HOLD ZIP ROM and Drug it to the XiaomiADB.exe After you will see this window: Wait some time, and device reboot automatically. If Device didnt boot, Open command line from XiaomiADB connect device in MIAssistant mode to PC and write:

xiaomiadb format-data

After this command your DATA will be reset! You lost all files and Settings on your device.

Thanks for this great trip but can it be use to move from a previous lower version to higher version but of the same rom. Also can it be use if your phone not bricked to flash update without unlocking bootloader?
And also can it be use to flash from stable to beta rom?

You can use for update! Also you can move from latest beta to stable rom, ONLY same region ROM. Example: RU to RU, MI to MI, or EU to EU rom. YOU CANT DOWNGRADE or flash ROM from RU to MI, MI to RU or other region! You can unbrick device if after update device didn't booting up, or if device just power off and didn't boot
