1. Redmi Note 8 Pro arrives in Germany, starts at €250
Xiaomi took the wraps off the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro in China on August 29 keeping up with what the Redmi Note series is known for. The Redmi Note 8 Pro which brings killer specs to the budget segment will be hitting the global market in the coming weeks.

While the Indian launch is tipped for late October, Xiaomi’s Redmi extended the Redmi Note 8Pro reach to the European market with the launch of the device in Spain earlier this month. Just about a week since it landed in Spain, the Redmi Note 8Pro has today landed in the EU market.
2. Xiaomi India creates history by selling 43 TVs per minute during the festive sales
Xiaomi claims to have sold over 250,000 units of the Mi TV during the recently-concluded festive sale on Amazon, Flipkart and MI.com. The Mi TV is a huge hit with the Indian customers and that is evident from the sales charts, which roughly translates to 43 devices sold every minute.
This is a huge milestone for the brand that had previously shattered sales records in the smartphone category. Xiaomi offered huge discounts on the Mi TV range during the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale and Amazon’s Great Indian Festival. According to Xiaomi, the two best-selling TVs on Amazon India during the event were the 43-inch Mi TV 4A Pro and the 32-inch Mi TV 4C Pro.
3. Xiaomi unveils new campaign for Mi A3
Xiaomi has announced a new TVC for its camera smartphone - Mi A3 powered by Android One. Mi A3 was launched in the month of August 2019 and has been gaining immense popularity amidst Mi Fans in India. The entire campaign is set on the precedent of Mi A3 offering the world’s highest-resolution camera setup.
Set in a futuristic lab, the story brings together the fabulous camera capabilities with 48MP rear camera and 32MP front camera capabilities of Mi A3 along with the use of Google Assistant, among scientists in a comical fashion. The video presents a humorous conversation between a scientist and his associate who uses a Mi A3. It begins with the scientist carrying around two smartphones, one for its rear camera and another one for its front camera, while stressing on the impossibility of finding a phone that offers the best of both. The associate takes him by surprise by flaunting his new Mi A3 which has a 48MP rear camera and 32MP front camera, precisely offering the best of both worlds. The video concludes with the two of them sitting together and admiring their photographs clicked on Mi A3.
