Hi Mi Fans,

We all love to take photos. To make the photos more attractive photo editing apps have been developed. Here I am going to share the best photo editor apps for Android. But do not think these apps can do better than desktop/computer photo editor software!

VSCO is the favorite of social media influencers. If you see amazing photos on Instagram, chances are, they were edited using VSCO. Users of this app vary from professional photographers to social media addicts. The app features an easy to use set of editing tools and exclusive filters. The catch though is, if you want more filters you will have to buy them (they’re really not expensive, but you have to pay to add filters).

2. Adobe Lightroom Mobile
Lightroom and Photoshop are the reasons behind Adobe's iron grip on the desktop photo editing market. Lightroom for iPad isn't good as a standalone photo editing app, but it shines when used in conjunction with Lightroom for Windows or Mac. In many of the forums online, Adobe Lightroom Mobile has the most number of recommendations as the best photo editor on Android. This app allows for editing of RAW image format and edits those photos using different pre-sets which come with the app. One thing that makes this app different is you can only use it for free during a 30-day trial, and you have to have a Creative Cloud subscription in order to use the app permanently.

3. Fotor Photo Editor
Fotor is a long-time member of this list and there are many blogs and lists that list Fotor as a must-have option. We agree. It’s has a lot more actual editing tools than most and includes the ability to enhance photos with a one-tap tool for your convenience. Some of the other tools include crop, rotate, brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, vignetting, shadow, highlights, temperature, tint, RGB, and, if those aren’t working, there are over 100 filters for you to choose from. It’s definitely worth a shot. The only downside is that the app makes you log in to use it and it’s one of the more expensive photo editor apps.

4. Pixlr
Pixlr app is an online web-application developed for photo retouching and designing/drawing. Its main difference among other photo editing apps is a non-Instagram orientation. The vast majority of software obtains limited opportunities, aside from the Pixlr pro. It is a full-fledged free Photoshop alternative, but only in the browser. Unlike other best free photo editors, Pixlr is a real alternative to Adobe Photoshop, but with limited photo retouching functions.

7. Adobe Photoshop for Mobile
If you are familiar with Adobe Photoshop on your desktop, then you will love this app. Some users are hard-core purists and would only acknowledge Photoshop as the only option, this app is for them. It features background blur, cinema effects, face beauty and much more features which can be found only on the desktop version. This app is available for free in the Google Play Store.

8. Photo Effects Pro
Photo Effects Pro is definitely an editor for those who like to play with filters, effects, stickers, and things like that. It boasts more than 40 filters and effects as well as the ability to add text, stickers, and frames as well. An unusual feature Photo Effects Pro has is the ability to finger paint on your photo to make it something unique that you make. There is a small selection of photo editing tools, but you’re definitely getting this one for the effects. It’s free to download and use which makes it great for those on a budget.

9. Picsart
PicsArt has been around for a very long time and has accumulated over 250 million downloads to date. Thankfully, the developers have done a decent job updating the app to keep it modern. You’ll find a lot of the usual stuff including the light editing tools as well as filters, text, stickers, and collages. It boasts over 100 editing tools as well as a community of creative people to share stuff with. You can also use this app to generate animated gifs and even draw stuff on your photos. It’s a strong option with a lot of features. There are also plenty of other photo tools by PicsArt.
