Happy Wednesday, Take cordial love from Mi Community Bangladesh Resource Team. This is the twelfth week of our "Weekly App Study". Do you love to play games through your smartphone, wanna be nostalgic? Well, today we are reviewing an old game named "Streets of Rage Classic" developed by SEGA. Only 90's kids can remember it. So without wasting time let's play the game!
Want more 16-bit flashbacks? Streets of Rage is another Mega Drive smash you can revisit on your phone. It looks just it did in 1991, albeit without the fuzzy scanlines of a knackered old CRT monster-size TV. However, you can now rewind time because let’s be honest, most of us aren’t as hardcore as we used to be in the 90s. Others 90s oldies to revisit include Altered Beast, Golden Axe, and Gunstar Heroes.
Well, Sega Forever has given us a chance to relive some classic gaming experiences on Android, and they just keep coming. The latest release is the beat 'em up classic Streets of Rage. You can start playing it right now, and it'll cost you nothing if you don't mind some ads.
Like other games of its era, you advance through the levels in a side-scrolling fashion. However, you can also move up and down a bit to maneuver around enemies. The goal is to beat up all the bad guys—it's pretty straightforward. The on-screen controls work well enough.
Originally released on the SEGA Genesis in 1991, Streets of Rage is a side-scrolling beat-em-up in the vein of Double Dragon or Final Fight. You’ve got your usual three styles of character to choose from, including fast-but-weak, strong-but-slow, and somewhere-in-the-middle. Main character Axel looks like an off-brand Cody, and many of the enemies are a little too close to those seen in Final Fight for comfort.
Each character has one attack button, a jump button, and a limited ability to call in a rocket launcher strike from a nearby squad car. Smashing obstacles on the streets will reward you with items including health pick-ups, weapons, extra lives, and so on.
You can play for free, but cloud saves and an ad-free experience will cost you ৳150. There's also a 15-second rewind feature that can undo a mistake, but you have to watch an ad each time if you don't pay the upgrade fee.
