I don't know what poco dev team is doing, since they updated to Pie theu create a new problem after every update

Android Pie is a google mistake, if you think MIUI Pie is bad you haven't seen Android One Pie.

Hi,
Android 9 isn't the problem with Xiaomi Android One, my opinion is that the Xiaomi devs are the problem.
We will have the opportunity to verify if the issues were by the OS or bad adaptation after the Android 10 update to Mi Ax phones.

I didn't meant "Xiaomi" Android One, i meant Android One, all brands, i talk from a lot of experience since i work with technical support and have a lot of time to try these devices.
In my opinion Android One is not nearly as good as it should be because all brands don't put the effort they should when delivering updates.

Remember that Mi 8 has a aluminium cover which dissipates heat way better than Pocophone's plastic cover, it seems all xiaomi devices with plastic cover like Redmi Note 7 have the same thermal throttle problem.

mi8 and redmi note 7 have glass back not aluminium, or did u meant frame? you should check out old miui oreo rom, there were no such throttling issues. do you think pie update replaceed phones back? hehe. the actual problem is, they ported rom from mi8 and messed up with thermal profile code.

That is because of thermal control got stricter than before and devs did not add these kinds of benchmark in whitelist. This is what Head of POCOPHONE Global mentioned.

What is the purpose for stricter thermal control? We should have device becomes warm but also deliver in performance. It doesn't make sense to limit the performance just because the device heats up just a bit.
