In the very first chapter of this series, we'll learn what we should do when our smartphone is unable to detect SIM card. Reboot your device This is the simplest solution for this error! When you reboot your device, it revitalizes most of the software of the device and thus, it assures to fix the errors like this one.
![]() Check the SIM tray of the device Well, if SIM card is not placed appropriately or if there's any dust particles on the SIM tray, it ends up causing this error. To check whether the problem is occurring for any of these, follow the steps below:
Note: After turning the device on, check if the error is still happening or not. If it is, there's a high chance that SIM card is damaged or uncleaned. ![]() Check your SIM card A damaged or uncleaned SIM card may also be the reason for this annoying issue.
Note: If the error keeps occurring even after doing this, SIM card is most probably damaged. Note: After being disabled, Airplane Mode will obviously look for the network signals - which may fix your problem. ![]() Set the Network Mode to auto If the mobile network of your device is different from the carrier you're utilising for your device, it would cause SIM card detection failure as well. Thereafter, you should set the mobile networks of the phone to auto - it'll automatically choose the preferred network and fix the error.
