in need of a repair - Mi MIX 3 - Xiaomi Community

Today is a sad day :(

I took my phone case off my Mix Mix 3 last night when I went for a run and forgot to put it back on.

So today my mix 3 was naked and on a table at a local cafe (metal table and ceramic don't mix), before I knew it my precious slid off the table and hit the concrete floor, now my poor baby has two cracks in the front glass, one the top right corner and one bottom right corner.

I don't want to attempt a repair myself as I have done before with other phones but never with a slider (no pun intended)

Does anyone know where I can get it fixed cheaply as I have not got much cash.

search YouTube for mix 3 teardown. jerryrig is pretty clear and straight forward. remember to backup and take very good notes as you go along. I know it's only 1yr, I would replace the thermo paste whilst it's open. if it's two years old, change the battery. if you are in Birmingham area I could give it ago... if it's too much then sell it on eBay and let me know...

Not in Durham they only touch the big names I've tried before

hi I have a mi mix 3 and I have two hair line cracks mi are going to do the repair but it has taken me a month for them to get back to me you have to prove your proof of purchase then you have to send it to France to be repaired but they will do it

sorry it's taken so long for me to notice your question if you brought it off mi off the app on the sale like I did they are sending me a jiffy bag and I am sending to France for a new screen mine has two hair line cracks bottom they said it will cost me £80 to £90 and it will take 3 to 4 weeks . I am away at a event and use my phone till late if you brought it off them I think your okay send them a email and they do get back to you

its a Chinese import, with global rom flashed on it so no warranty
