cannot connect Xiaomi WiFi repeater pro in Mi App - Other Devices - Xiaomi Community

Hi all,I am trying to connect the Xiaomi WiFi Repeater Pro in the appartement of my mother in law. She her daughter is having difficulties with the network in the last room. So my option was to add this Repeater.But in the Mi App ( region: China ) I get the error message below.

So I wanted to try it at my place as well to see if this isn't broken. But in my house it works fine, what to do.

what was the problem with the Router?
my mother in law is using an Fritzbox 7312.
when I see the wifi list. it does not show 2.4 / 5Ghz on my phone with her WiFi.
does it mean no 2.4GHz at least or?

Same problem encounter but my first buy mi wifi repeater extender pro is add to the mi home apps but my second buy cannot add why is the problem... thanks

usse other phone also cannot
already sepnd 3 hrs on setup

Hi, after many retries adding this repeater in Mi Home, I found that the problem was that my Thomson TG784v3 had security mode set to "WPA-PSK + WPA2-PSK" instead of "WPA2-PSK". After this change, Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro configured properly and added successfully without any retries or issues to my Mi Home account.

Xiaomi should add this information together with the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi limitation in troubleshooting hints.
