Hi anyone have a solution to confirm your password page after a factory reset?  Its asking for a numeric password and the only passwords i have created are alphanumeric.  Thanks for your assistance.

Hi happybuddhist,

thx for your reply.  I did a search and did find the link you copied.  However I'm stuck at step 2, which doesnt seem to appear on my screen.  Does anyone else have a solution to this frustrating situation?  Thanks a bunchFollow the instructions:

1. On the screen of selecting WiFi network, select your network. Get connected.
2. Then hit "modify", and hit "change password" field.
3. Tap "show password" button, then type your phone number (or any other one).
4. Long tap and hit "call". A caller app is loaded.
5. Hit Save contact.
6. Tap the contact, then hit "share".
7. Choose Gmail app (note: adding Gmail account won't work from there, tried that).
8. Choose "Exchange". Type your email address (or any other one).
9. On the next screen (password selection), hit "select" to choose a certificate.
10. At this moment a device locking screen will be brought up. Change the lock to a PIN number.
!!!Voila!!!
11. Then go back to the beginning of the phone setup process and add Google account with no extra questions.

I think you might need to go with bypassing FRP. You can Google it or watch YouTube videos to find tutorials. It's not a big deal - you can do it from the device itself. When I searched for a solution, I found that some users fixed it that way. See if it helps you.

Cheers! :-)

thanks again happybuddhist, but none of the suggestions worked.  I'm still back to square one and stuck at the confirm password page with numeric keypad.  Anybody else have any workarounds?  I'm desperate lol

thanks in advance.

no i have a alpha numeric password.  I didn't create a numbers only password.  Were you able to solve the issue?
