Well, popular brands like Samsung and Huawei have announced smartphones with foldable displays although we are yet to see those products in the market. Less popular Chinese manufacturer, Royole Technology, launched the first foldable smartphone dubbed “FlexPai” This device went on sale last month and it sold out immediately.
With these foldable smartphones already making the waves, many people are now looking forward to other devices that can use flexible screens. In response to this, senior executives at Intel said that they believe that laptops with foldable screens will be available as soon as 2021.

Google, after taking a sabbatical of six months from revealing its has finally unveiled the updated list. The new list was revealed right at the time when the search giant unveiled Android Q and new Google Pixel smartphones at the Google IO 2019 keynote. Although Android Q is yet to show up on the distribution numbers, last year’s Android 9 Pie has gained some market share among other Android OS versions.
As per the list, Android 9 Pie has crossed 10% of all the smartphones running Google’s mobile OS in the world. The particular version now sits at 10.4%. Android Oreo versions 8.0 and 8.1 are at 12.9% and 15.4%, which means a total of 28.3% share. Android Nougat versions 7.0 and 7.1 sit at 11.4% and 7%, which results in a total of 18.4%, which Android 6.0 Marshmallow is slightly behind at 16.9%.

Passwords have become major irritants both for users and for the security teams that have to support them. Remembering credentials for dozens of sites is difficult, so many people tend to reuse passwords on multiple sites, meaning that if a password is stolen or compromised in a data breach, many separate accounts could be jeopardized. There have been a number of different efforts to address this problem, from password managers to biometrics, but none has become the one overarching solution to the problem.
In an era of data breaches and dumps, it has become crucial to shift to a new paradigm that doesn’t depend on passwords for using internet services. To offer stronger authentication all over the web, the FIDO Alliance and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) are launching a new standard called Web Authentication -WebAuthn

Every year, a lot of tech events take place around the world… and no doubts, the Google I/O is one of the biggest. Google I/O is an annual developer conference where Google announces new hardware, software, and various updates for its existing apps and services. This year we had the event from May 7 to May 9 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
Google has big plans for the second half of 2019 that run from the home to the auto. At its just-concluded Google I/O developer conference, the tech giant unveiled the Google Nest Hub Max, talked about its plans for Lens and AR, showed a more personal side of Google Assistant, debuted cheaper Pixel 3A and 3A XL phones and revealed new features in in Android Q.
