[Q&A] mi max 3 portable hotspot

Hi, I am unable to use the portable Hotspot since 10.1 stable update. The portable hotspots turns on but there is no internet connectivity on the devices which are trying to connect to the Hotspot. Yes I have mobile internet enabled on mi max 3 and it is working but with portable Hotspot it's not. Can someone Pls assist as I really need this basic fearure

Try download full rom and install again! I dont have any issues with hotspot on my max 3

I installed the complete rom from the update utility and still the same. I even reset the phone but still no difference. Any more ideas? One of my friend who also have mi max 3 has the same issue. I was able to use it in 10.1 but since then can't use it any more

Hi, try adding DUN in APN Type settings. This resolved my issue
