ok but if you use your fingerprint to login to like apps those apps also have access to your fingerprint so I think it's more of a security measure than anything else but I wouldn't worry about it too much cuz if you're downloading apps from you know the Google app store then you should be fine but if you sideload apps don't use your fingerprint to sign in on those apps...

What a bullshit. Apps never have access to fingerprint - they have information from system is fingerprint correct or not.
Your FP is hashed and hidden deep inside android system.
72h lock should have disable toggle under settings menu.

Exactly. We should be able to choose, to impose that is wrong. I feel responsible enough not to use it. by the way, I never had a problem recovering my password with Google.
