Mobile devices are funny things. On the one hand, they’re basically computers, capable of large and complex computations in the blink of an eye. On the other hand, they’re very ephemeral in a way – not really designed to last beyond two years. This creates an interest phenomenon in the mobile space. After all, if a phone isn’t designed to last more than a couple of years, then how can it be considered reliable for local data storage? But on the other hand, computers and cloud storages are where we keep our stuff, so how do we come to grips with this dichotomy.
How do you get by with your smartphone's local storage? Is that just a place to put apps? Are you the one who have to delete photos in order to take more pictures? Do you keep a lot of documents that you need while traveling for work to be readily available? So our Mi Bunny was just wondering how our readers are minding their smartphone's storage space. Sound off below in the comments and let us know.
How Much Data Do You Store Locally On Your Smartphone?
I have internal memory of 64 GB and Sd card with 32 gb. All important stuff I save on SD card but application and other on internal memory. Pictures that I have ,I store on MI cloud. so I dont worry that I loose any pictures from my travel..
i save my storage space for when i really need it but because i have 128GB on board it is generally always available
i keep music and movies and other consumable Data on my 128GB microSD card but when microSD cards become really cheap i want to get a 512GB card and see if it works on the Poco F1 - if not then i will get 2 x 256GB microSD cards to keep swopping according to my mood and the content i want to use
i do not like the idea of some of these new phones that do not allow for microSD card storage expansion
