Stock Android, same or even bigger battery would be nice, SD 845 again would be ok for me, to keep the cost as low as possible.
No need for fency stuff, this is budget oriented device.
I think that  Poco F1 with stock Android and better band support and everything else about the same would be a real worldwide killer.

I love 3.5mm audio Jack.I can connect with my  headphones, all of them or the stereo  or the pc or the car stereo etc.etc without a dongle or compatibility issues .  instead of  removing the 3.5 why not to add a  IR blaster  ??

1° Snapdragon 855 with X50 modem unless it's really too expensive, otherwise even X24 can do the job; 2° 48 MP camera like Note 7; 3° Slightly bigger battery, at least 4500 mah; 4° Brighter screen as right it's a bit difficult to read under the sunlight; 5° definitely keep the micro/nano sd option and the 3.5mm jack.

The Snapdragon 855 has a huge performance boost (biggest performance improvement in any generation) and will be needed for newer games when mobile gaming. It also has onboard compatibility for 5G whereas the 845 would need an additional modem which increases costs and reduces space for other components.

The component costs are reducing fast so that shouldn't be a big issue by the time they announce the new phone.
