![]() Hello Mi Fans, As part of Redmi's overall brand strategy and to better ensure the stability of Redmi devices , Redmi has decided to make the following adjustments to the MIUI system iteration strategy: starting from April 4th, the Redmi team will stop providing updates to the developer ROM for Redmi released in 2016, including: Redmi 3S/3X, Redmi Note 3 SE, Redmi Pro, Redmi 4 series, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A.The normal upgrade for other devices will not be affected for the time being. If there are any changes for other devices, we will keep users informed. It is recommended to upgrade to the latest stable ROM if you are using the developer ROM for the above devices. For Mi Fans who have a strong desire to test new MIUI features, we will have a program in the future, allowing users to beta test the stable version before its full release. More information on this program will be available closer to date. There are two methods to update Global Developer ROM to Global Stable ROM: 1. Update manually to stable ROM Mi Fans who want to update manually can also go to the Flashing Guide page, find the Fastboot ROM of the corresponding device and download it. Then update manually to the latest stable ROM through the flashing tool (Note: This operation will wipe all data, so users should back up any data they wish to retain). Click here to view the Fastboot flashing tutorial. 2. Request stable ROM update (this feature will be available soon, stay tuned!) Click System Update - Top Right Menu - Request stable ROM update, select the reservation stable ROM. This upgrade will allow you to retain user data. Redmi Team April 4th 2019 |
