You are not mistaken, this time we will review The King of Fighters-A 2012 (F), an old school fighting game that is quite interesting to playback and arguably never timeless. The King of Fighters-A 2012 (F) is a smart device version of The King of Fighter XIII that was on the console in 2010.

The fighting genre in the touch base device has its own challenges, namely in terms of control. However, the touch screen cannot replace the joystick, but a solid implementation can make us forget a little that we are playing on the touch screen.

Regarding features you don't need to worry, KOF has a lot. Starting from fighting singles, team battles, survival, time attack, challenge and training, the fun here is a challenge mode where you are required to do challenges such as a combo of x hits and damage x.

Another one that is no less exciting is the training menu where you can also practice combos in addition to normal training. Although the number of combos for each person is only 5 the advantage of KOF is that you can do a demo combo where AI will give an example of a combo complete with the sequence and timing buttons that must be pressed.

After each match, you will get points and achievements that will open the trading card. The trading card is basically just a card with pictures but to collect it requires hard work because this trading card must be purchased with points that you can.

Even though you have a lot of points but you cannot choose a trading card directly but randomly, just like a real trading card that is usually sold in the game or bookstore.

There are 285 trading cards that you can collect. In addition to the trading card there are also galleries, movies, novels, and finally, the sound test where you can hear almost all the sounds in this game. The record menu also allows you to review the results of the matches you recorded, or you can also exchange these recordings with other players. You can also see your statistics and other players.

As we mentioned earlier, King of Fighter-A 2012 (F) is a good fighting game even though it has expired. In terms of graphic presentation, KOF is still quite good even though it's a little low res. Beyond the problem of non-functioning multiplayer and controls that are a little less responsive, KOF is a perfect fighting game with abundant features. A compulsory game for fighting lovers who have smart devices and of course not in front of your favorite PC or console.
