[Discussion] APN settings problems

Pocophone f1 will not allow me to change the APN settings manually. spent 4 hours trying to do it even spent an hour on phone to network provider. i am on talkmobile in uk

Do you have a SIM card installed in the phone, if so I would also try placing the phone in to Flight mode for 10 seconds or so and turning flight mode off.

Failing that remove the SIM card, restart the phone and re insert the SIM card again.

If the problem persists check your phone is updated using WiFi and if you still have the same issue it may be a corrupt APN list in the ROM.

i have factory reset phone 3 times removed sim numerous times reinserted sim ect  tried in sim slot 1 and 2  . dont know what else to do? stumped

yes i have put in flight mode turned off phone factory reset phone removeved sim card ect all to no avail still not getting data

then i spent an hour on phone to network provider who told me to do the same things all over again that i had been doing .... bloody hell there is just no way i can see of changing the APN settings manually ?

ohhh i did have 2 sims in and then i took one out and still no internet ... all i have to do is changed the APN setings

When you reset your phone did it start the activation process and follow through set up?

It may be worth speaking to Xiaomi Customer Contact Center on 0800 9160561, they are available Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm
