Mi 8 launched in Thailand - Mi News - Xiaomi Community

Saw mi 8 launched in Thailand. This is really fast!
The Mi 8 from the actual launched date is less than a month and Thailand is already retailing them.

I was wondering why Malaysia and Singapore have yet to launch them.
The price was although higher than China which is obviously because it is on global rom.

Malaysia has launched Mi A2 and A2 Lite but not Mi 8 yet. Singapore currently is the other way round, Mi 8 has launched but not the 2 Android One devices.

But to be fair I believe Mi SG and its distributors are trying to speed launches up. Just that I was told if telco decides to carry a Xiaomi model, it will cause a delay in the launch of that Xiaomi model, not sure how true but there you go.

I thought Singapore will launch Mi8 before Malaysia (?2018 Mi Explorers... bla bla.. ) while Malaysia launched A2, but seems like Mi Singapore still 'work hard Chasing' behind Malaysia.. Not only Thailand, Philippine launched Mi8 too.
