Hey Mi Fans,

I hope you are doing well and enjoying this monsoon. Now coming to back to MIUI, Well, MIUI is one of the most customizable Android ROM available. MIUI has many advanced features which stock Android does not have. Features like Dual space, Cloned apps, Scrolling Screenshot, Showtime, Security and many more features makes MIUI unique. MIUI does not just carry features, But it also has gorgeous and stunning UI. The color combination which is used in MIUI makes you focus on your content during your phone operation.

MIUI theme app has abundant collection of Themes, Wallpaper and Ringtones to make your Mi device unique. This is the reason that MIUI has total 200 Million active users around the world.

Types of MIUI ROM
MIUI gives 2 types of ROM to its user, Stable ROM and Developer/Beta ROM. Stable ROM gets update every month and Developer ROM gets update every week.

There are 2 ways to flash Stable and Developer ROM on your devices. One is from Recovery and othe method is flashing from Mi Flash Tool. Thats why the one you flash from recovery is called Recovery ROM and the other one you flash from Mi flash Tool is called Fastboot ROM. A stable rom is one which is tested by the developers and doesn't contain any bugs and is safe to flash.

Whereas a developer rom is under development rom which might have some bugs which may harm your device’s software or hardware. This type of rom is basically developed for experimental purposes and remains in beta version until all the bugs and glitches gets fixed…
Check the Image above.

About Update
MIUI has one of the best update cycle. Beta ROM gets the new feature and it goes under rigourous testing for one month to become a Stable ROM. Thats the reason Beta ROM gets update every week with some bug fixes and that respective ROM after testing becomes Stable ROM after one month.

I hope all those who were having doubts of "What is Stable and Beta ROM?" got solved with this thread. If you still have doubt then you can ask in this thread. We will be happy to reply you.
