[Discussion] Switch off for no reason, please help

Hi all
I am very worried about mi 9Note switching off for no reason, even in the middle of the night when I am relying on my alarm to wake up for work or when I am on a very important phone call.
What did I pay my money for? Any advice?
I feel I am.wasting my money and ask Mi for a refund or replacement.

Did it start doing this after a MIUI update? Have you installed any apps that may have caused it?

I can't remember and I don't think that the problem is an app because I've only used Google play. Honestly, I am gutted. Never happened even with the cheapest phone that I have bought in the past.  Mi has to do something about it

It may be worth doing a factory reset of the phone to see if that will fix it. Make sure you backup all your data and any important files such as photos first as they will be wiped. Go to Settings - About Phone - Factory Reset.

Go to Google Play Store and check for updates to the community app. It depends what country you are in which version you get. We are also at https://new.c.mi.com/uk

Daft question, but are you using a third party case on the phone? Sometimes these are not quite right and press on the power button. Worth eliminating at least

the case came with the phone that I bought in the sealed original packaging from a third party seller.<br>
is light and see through and the buttons are not covered. Or at least so it seems. Is this a common issue? This is the third 3 that happens to me
