[Discussion] Mi9T pro NOT fast charging.

Hey Guys!

Have a K20 pro which is now technically a Mi9T pro as it was rebooted with the amazing help of Torlyn. (purchased one of the original Chinese versions which didn't have global ROM)

Anyways, the phone simply does NOT turbo cjarge or boost charge or whatever the lingo is now called.

I've even purchased this Belkin 30w charger and still it continues to Slow charge. Any advice?

I'm using the original USB a to c cable the Xiaomi phone came with so no issues with cables.

What's strange is I tested it some months back with another Belkin charger and it DID turbo charge.

Looking at the box for that 30 Watt charger, It is not a 30 Watt charger, It is 18 Watt USB C and 12 Watt USB A (Total 30 Watts). So it is only a 18 Watt charger. A lot of companies sell phone chargers like this. As far as I can tell your phone needs a charger of 27 Watts or more to fast charge.

It is, If you use the USB A socket as that's the cable that comes with most phones it's 12 W.
