Hi from Greece. did the update successfully to miui 12 , works very well so far. there is no way to change from notification Bar to be transparent ?? and not gray ..!

This is an intentional change by Xiaomi. It has to do with improving the performance of lower-end devices.

There's absolutely no lag and very smooth at the notification shade now. I don't miss the transparency at all, but a darker colour to replace the ugly grey would be great.
