Hi Mi Fans,
Greetings from Mi Community Bangladesh Device Team. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S released with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. It arrived with support for HD playback on streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. A few days ago, Xiaomi released a new stable update for the Redmi Note 9S. The update, which arrived with a version number, MIUI 188.8.131.52 QJWMIXM, and weighs in at 244MB, supposedly fixed the Widevine L1 certificate issue. However, it seems that the fix wasn’t automated, and to start streaming videos in HD quality, few things need to be done manually. Which is why I did this thread. You can now manually solve the Widevine L1 certification problem if you want. I am describing step by step how you will solve the problem.
N.B: if an error occurs, try again after restarting.
Lets us know via the comment box if the issue has been resolved.
Special thanks to our Admin mnnahid Bhai & Super Moderator rayhanh Bhai and Moderator aalakib07 bhai for continuous support and inspiration.
